Found a compact store on Queen street (west of Spadina), A mixture of retro and contemporary….Every aspect of the store is utilize , even the ceiling is used to display prints and paintings.

While reading the New York Time, Fashion and Style section online, I came across an illustration of Anna Wintour’s by Hope Gangloff. The illustrations feel like candid moments, almost like snapshot.

Went on a trip to the Value Village in my neighbourhood. The store was packed and it was difficult at times manoeuvring around the aisles. I spent $3.00 plus tax on several pieces of material and a little bag of thread. I am making a houndstooth pattern quilt. This is my first salvage project of the year. Fingers cross.
